Name: | Han Solo |
---|---|
Birthdate: | May 25 |
Location: | United States |
Han was born on the planet Corellia during the waning years of the Galactic Republic (around 32 BBY).
During his formative years, his father worked in the Corellian Engineering Corporation shipyards, building vessels such as YT-1300 light freighters until he was laid off. Han’s father wished he could leave Corellia on such a ship, but was never able to afford to. According to Han, his father brought him to the Corellian Engineering Company factory where he worked. There his father pointed out that the ships being built there were his contributions to the galaxy, but that they ultimately didn't matter. Han’s dad advised him that he wasn't meant to build ships, but rather to fly them. Sometime later, his father died, leaving him with no other living relatives.
Young Han dreams of someday soaring into space at the helm of his own starship and leaving his home, the gritty industrial planet Corellia, far behind. But as long as he's trapped in a life of poverty and crime—reaching the distant stars seems impossible. When Han tries to escape with his girlfriend, Qi'ra, he makes it out—but she doesn't. Desperate for a way to find his own offworld vessel and free her, Han enlists in the Imperial Navy; the worst place for a rebellious loner who doesn't play well with others to end up.
[ As a player, I welcome tags from everybody. I’d love to see some other Solo muses, of course, but I’m all for time-shenanigans from all SW muses. And some of my of favorite threads are AU, cross-cannon or panfandom. My Plurk is here:
